Fashion- Geek Glasses Are In

The newest fashion along with the grey hair, messy bed hair and beard seems to be geeky looking glasses. These fashions just seem to be getting stranger and stranger?

There are actually many huge stars that have started to wear the geeky glasses and they include Britney Spears and Lady Gaga, are they sparing a thought for the people that actually wear them? Of course it isn’t, it is the trend and as soon as it gets a bit old they will of course just drop them. Is this really fair?

Once the trend is out there, kids will start to ask their parents to buy these glasses for them without the lenses in there and when it dies out so will the glasses. So what about the people that cannot just take off their glasses once the trend has finished, anyone thinking about them? As soon as the trend is over they will become the butt of jokes again and for what?

A Good Thing

Is it right for the geeky kids to be treated nicely for a short period of time and then just dumped, there is more to this. Because trends are considered cool amongst the popular people they may start talking to the geeky kids for a short time. Once this happens they may realise that they are no different from anyone else and actually become very good friends.

Although I would say this will not happen in most cases there will be some instances where children will become more accepted by students.

Once again the stars are not doing it for other people but because the trend is in, they will drop it as soon as it goes leaving many glasses wearing children alone again.

What will the next trend be, aviator glasses, ray ban sunglasses or perhaps a nice pair of ray ban wayfarer? Whatever the trend I am certain celebrities will not be interested on the effect it has on “real” people.
